Executive Profile

Surendra Dhungana is a treasurer of the NAA UK. Mr Dhungana was born in Achham which is one of the Far-West districts of Nepal. He did his schooling from Mumbai and also completed his bachelor and then a Master degree from the Mumbai University. Mr Dhungana had a passion of becoming a chartered accountant and thus started working as a book-keeper in one of the manufacturing company in 1985 while studying his First Year B.Com in Mumbai.

Mr Dhungana came to London in October 2000 to pursue his further education and has the experience of working in a small and medium size practices to the top firms like Grant Thornton, Ernst & Young LLP (EY) and BDO LLP since June 2001. Due to his extensive knowledge in the accounting and in the auditing sector, Mr Dhungana has the privilege of working as a Senior Auditor in the private as well as in the public sectors’ and thus have the opportunity of auditing large Multi-National Companies, NHS and the Local Boroughs. Mr Dhungana is also attached to the large privately owned business and work with them as a finance controller.

Mr Dhungana is also involved in the social activities and has a passion of travelling and is a sport enthusiastic too. He is also involved in the various Nepalese organisation and take active part in supporting the community.
